Design. The Nomad has a more general-purpose shape than the Phazer (optimized for wing-foil glide) or the Compact (optimized for compact stability). Reinforced construction versus standard AK versions: the outer layer is more resistant to impacts, sand gouges and heavy-use wear — designed for the rider with many sessions who doesn't want to worry about daily dings. Standard AK foil box compatible with most market systems.

In the water. The Nomad responds well in wing-foil freeride and surf-foil without being specialist in either. The robust construction compensates for the slight extra weight versus full-carbon: for riders who value durability over minimum weight, it's the right balance. For surf-foil in small or medium waves, 55-65 L sizes work well. For wing-foil freeride or beginners, 65-90 L sizes are most common.
