The AK Phazer V3 wingboard 5.4 (78 L) is the third generation of AK's mid-length wingboard, available in a single size: 5.4' with 78 L volume. The Phazer is AK's elongated and relatively narrow shape — longer than the Compact for the same volume, which translates into more glide in planing and more comfortable take-offs.
Construction. Composite over EPS core, standard foil box compatible with most foil systems on the market. The 78 L suits riders from 65-85 kg at intermediate level, or up to 90 kg if used as advanced initiation. Slightly raised nose for clean take-offs even in choppy conditions.
In the water. The Phazer V3 is predictable and stable in flight: no sudden behavior, good tracking on long edges. For wing-foil freeride, it works well with front wings from 800 to 1300 cm² depending on level and typical wind. The 78 L provides enough flotation to launch without difficulty while not being excessively heavy in maneuvers once you're flying.
