The Mystic Vandal PRO helmet is a technical helmet from Mystic for wing, kite, foil and wave riding sessions. Head protection is underused in these sports — a foil with carbon blades, a board at speed or a wipeout in rocks can cause serious injury. A good technical helmet changes the equation.

Who should use it:

• Wing-foil and kitefoil riders: the foil under the board is a real risk in wipeouts.
• Wave riders: rocks, other surfers, your own board.
• Kite riders: whiplash in gusty conditions.
• Learning any discipline: protects while you're progressing.

How we recommend it at El Niño Mallorca. If you foil (any discipline), a helmet isn't optional: it's the accessory that makes the most difference if things go wrong.
