The PROWIP 2.0 Helmet is a technical helmet by WIP for wing, kite, foil and wave riding sessions. Head protection is underutilized in these sports—a foil with carbon blades, a board at speed or a wipeout on rocks can cause serious injury. A good technical helmet changes the equation.

Who should use one:

• Wing-foil and kitefoil riders: the foil under the board is a real hazard in wipeouts.
• Wave riders: rocks, other surfers, your own board.
• Kite riders: lash from the lines in choppy conditions.
• Beginners in any discipline: protects you while you're learning.

How we recommend it at El Niño Mallorca. If you foil (any discipline), a helmet is not optional: it's the accessory that makes the biggest difference if things go wrong.
