The Mystic Predator is a technical helmet from Mystic for wing, kite, foil and wave riding sessions. Head protection is underused in these sports — a carbon-bladed foil, a board at speed or a wipeout on rocky waves can cause serious injury. A good technical helmet changes the equation.

Who should wear it:

• Wing-foil and kite-foil riders: the foil under the board is a real wipeout risk.
• Wave riders: rocks, other surfers, your own board.
• Kite riders: whipping in gusty conditions.
• Starting any discipline: protects while you learn.

How we recommend it at El Niño Mallorca. If you foil (any discipline), a helmet isn't optional: it's the accessory that makes the most difference if things go wrong.
