WING BOARD LEASH

The WIP Wing Board Leash is a board leash purpose-built for wing-foil. It tethers your leg (or waist if you run Wing Belt) to your board during the session, keeping the board close when you bail. In foil—where fall speeds are higher and more violent than standard SUP or surf—a leash isn't optional.

Construction. Resilient urethane cord engineered to handle repeated stretching. Ankle cuff with dual-width velcro for secure, distributed grip (no circulation pinch). Anti-twist swivel at each end so the leash doesn't spiral during your session. Board plug attachment with safety clip. Works with the WIP Wing Board Leash Dampener (#3890) to reduce whip on hard bails.

In the water. The board leash keeps your system in control when you wipe. On downwind sessions or in current zones, losing your board becomes a serious situation. Leash length should be comfy enough for clean wipeouts without the board bouncing straight back at you. Advanced riders who prefer waist-tether: compatible with Wing Belt 2.0 (#3770).
