SEVERNE ADJUSTABLE OUTHAUL SYSTEM (SIZE XL - GREY)

The Severne Adjustable Outhaul System in size XL (grey) is an adjustable outhaul system that replaces the traditional outhaul line with a pulley mechanism. It allows you to tension and de-tension the sail's outhaul (the tension at the lower batten end, at the boom tip) quickly and with minimal effort, even with the sail rigged.

What it does. Outhaul adjustment defines the sail profile: more tension flattens it, giving control and speed in strong wind; less tension gives it shape, power, and better acceleration in light wind. With this pulley system the adjustment is a matter of seconds, without fighting a jammed line under load.

How we recommend it at El Niño Mallorca. Size XL is right for large sails with significant area, where the outhaul works with more tension and travel.
