The F-One TAIL DW family are Monobloc DW stabilizers from F-One (AR 9.0), from 136 to 176 cm²: more glide, control, and downwind efficiency. Check with us for pairing with your front wing.
The F-One TAIL DW family are rear Monobloc DW stabilizers from F-One (AR 9.0), available from 136 to 176 cm². Aimed at downwind, they deliver glide, control, and efficiency for linking bumps. Larger surfaces add stability and lift; smaller ones add agility.
What it does. Optimized for more glide, smoother takeoff, and better low-end range, with stable, high-speed ride and excellent speed stability. The long fuselage gives pitch stability—a great advantage in strong wind for crossing bumps without jerks—plus better forward projection and more efficient pump. Its reduced surface adds speed and response, and a slight dihedral angle improves roll and makes it more playful and stable when pivoting. It is an ideal choice to pair with SEVEN SEAS and EAGLE X lines. Your go-to for high-performance downwind chasing endless bumps.
| Size | Area | Use Orientation |
|---|---|---|
| 136 XS | 136 cm² | Speed and tight turns; light riders, short bump |
| 156 XXS | 156 cm² | Balance between planing and maneuver; versatile range |
| 176 XXS | 176 cm² | Maximum lift and glide; light wind, long bump |
How we see it at El Niño Mallorca. The stabilizer is the piece that tunes your foil's feel and response: more surface gives more stability and lift; less gives more speed and reactivity. It is the stab of the F-One range, so to nail the pairing with your front wing and fuselage (and your discipline and spot in Pollença, Alcúdia, or Sa Ràpita), check with us on WhatsApp or stop by the Alcúdia shop and we will review it together.
