The F-One TAIL DW COMP family are Monobloc DW COMP stabilizers from F-One (AR 12), from 85 to 135 cm²: extreme glide, top speed, and projection for race downwind. Check with us for pairing with your front wing.
The F-One TAIL DW COMP family are rear Monobloc DW COMP stabilizers with very high aspect ratio (AR 12), available from 85 to 135 cm². Built for race downwind, they seek extreme glide, top speed, and projection. Smaller surfaces are fastest; larger ones add a bit more stability.
What it does. Extreme glide and top speed, with outstanding forward projection and pump. Its short fuselage boosts acceleration and reactivity, and the reduced surface pushes speed and response even higher. A slight dihedral angle adds just enough stability to keep you hooked and efficient when linking bumps without jerks. Direct foil connection, minimal drag, maximum reactivity: what you need to perform at your peak in race downwind or long-distance runs.
| Size | Area | Use Orientation |
|---|---|---|
| 85 XS | — | Speed and tight turns; light riders, short bump |
| 95 XS | — | Speed and tight turns; light riders, short bump |
| 105 XS | 105 cm² | Balance between planing and maneuver; versatile range |
| 115 XS | 115 cm² | Balance between planing and maneuver; versatile range |
| 125 XS | 125 cm² | Maximum lift and glide; light wind, long bump |
| 135 XXS | 135 cm² | Maximum lift and glide; light wind, long bump |
How we see it at El Niño Mallorca. The stabilizer is the piece that tunes your foil's feel and response: more surface gives more stability and lift; less gives more speed and reactivity. It is the stab of the F-One range, so to nail the pairing with your front wing and fuselage (and your discipline and spot in Pollença, Alcúdia, or Sa Ràpita), check with us on WhatsApp or stop by the Alcúdia shop and we will review it together.
