The F-One GUN Long Distance was born in 2005, when big downwind races were taking off and heading out to sea at full speed with winds over 30 knots was the most exciting thing around.

On the water. At 200 × 43.5 cm, it's shaped to reach high speeds and hold the line in difficult conditions. It planes over its central section, between your feet, with a locally straight rocker for speed and acceleration and huge vee for eating chop. The tail sits slightly high for riding harder states of sea, and the pronounced scoop in the nose helps control and avoids burying the point.

Fins and construction. It mounts a tri-fin setup shaped for high speed, with moderate depth and placement honed to the millimeter. Equally capable of holding 20-knot averages over 100 miles or hitting 30-knot peaks. An extra layer of bamboo (Double Bamboo Deck) in the foot zone reinforces the deck against heel pressure and impacts: light, strong and responsive boards.
