The F-One Origin V2 is the most accessible and versatile wing-foil wing in the F-One range: light, smooth and forgiving, with exceptional low-end. Comfortable take-offs with minimal pumping, intuitive behavior and very little effort in long sessions. The choice for getting started, light wind or as a complement to the Strike in a full quiver.
The F-One Origin V2 is the most accessible and versatile wing-foil wing in the F-One range: light, smooth, forgiving and easy to launch. Designed for those starting in wing-foil, riders who spend many hours on the water in light wind, or anyone who values comfort over pure performance.
Design and behavior. Staggered seams that keep the profile stable under load without hardening the feel. Power delivery is intuitive: once airborne you barely need to adjust anything — just close the wing and let it carry you. Controlled speed, minimal fatigue, very smooth take-offs with minimal pumping thanks to its flexibility and low-range.
In the water. Its main strength is low-end: the combination of lightness and pumping efficiency gets you going when other wings stay on the surface. It's also ideal for freeriding in light wind. Advanced riders may find it lacks in strong wind conditions, but it shines right where other wings run out of juice.
Who enjoys it:
- Getting started: the most accessible wing in the F-One catalog.
- Heavier riders or those with large foils/boards who need easy push to plane.
- Full quiver: perfect complement to the Strike v6 or Swing v5 for very light wind days.
- Long sessions: tires your arms less than more rigid, technical wings.
Origin V2 vs Strike v6 — how we see it at El Niño Mallorca. The Origin V2 is the choice if you're getting started or if your priority is low-end and comfort. The Strike v6 is the choice if you're progressing and want sharper response and wide range. In Mallorca, where we alternate light spells with strong tramontana, an Origin V2 pair (big size for light days) + Strike v6 (medium-small sizes) covers practically the whole year. Write to us if you're unsure about size based on your weight and usual conditions.
