The AK Compact wingboard 25 is the latest generation of AK's compact shape, available in 3 volume sizes. The Compact philosophy never changes across generations: pack big volume into a short, wide board — easy launch, stable platform, and control during first flights. The 2025 version keeps that DNA and adds shape refinements to nose and tail versus earlier generations.

Design. Short and wide outline: easier to handle on land and more stable when the rider is standing pre-launch. Generous nose for launches in choppy seas. Tail with concaves for better flight response. Standard foil box compatible with most market systems. Durable composite construction.

In the water. The Compact is the board that forgives most during learning: volume packed in minimal length gives confidence when the rider still lacks balance on the foil. Once flying, the width adds extra roll stability. The tradeoff versus the Phazer (longer) is that Compact glides slightly less on straight edges — but for progressive freestyle and maneuvers, the compact platform responds better.

Compact 25 — how we see it at El Niño Mallorca. For wing-foil initiation or intermediate riders doing tricks and freestyle, the Compact is the call.
