The 8' Surf Board is an 8-foot surf board from Mistral in their budget-friendly range. At 8 feet long it offers extra flotation and stability compared to shortboards, making it easier to learn to surf on Mallorca's small to medium-sized beach breaks.

Construction. Surf board with basic construction—foam core and fiberglass or softop skin depending on model. The 8-foot shape focuses on stability in the pop-up and paddling ease for riders in their early learning stages. Comes with standard fin box (FCS or center box). Foot leash and fins not included.

In the water. Suitable for beginners surfing waves between 0.5 and 1.5 m at mellow spots. The extra volume makes floating, paddling, and popping up easier—the three core skills of year-one surfing. Once you've nailed the pop-up and want to progress, a board under 7 feet with more concave will be your next step.
