The Starboard SUP 12'6 x 31 Touring Lite Tech is a hardboard SUP from Starboard. The trade-off: they need storage space and road transport.

When to pick hardboard vs inflatable:

• Inflatable: you live in a flat, you travel by plane, you need portability.

Typical constructions:

• EPS + glass (entry-level): lightweight and affordable.
