Billabong Intruder 2/2 Shorty

The Billabong Intruder 2/2 shorty is the short wetsuit from Billabong's entry line: short sleeves, short legs, 2/2 mm. Designed for warm summer, beginners, and short sessions when a full suit is too much.

Technology. Flexible 2/2 mm neoprene with GBS seams (Glued and Blind Stitched) and impact welded back zip with heat tape seal. Lightweight construction, easy to put on and take off, made for summer use without advanced technical pretensions.

In the water. The 2/2 shorty is for waters above 22°C: in Mallorca, June to September with water between 22 and 26°C. Provides basic thermal protection in morning or afternoon sessions with wind, prevents chafing from vest and harness, and protects from sun and wax/paraffin. Ideal size for beginners who don't yet need a full suit.

For whom — how we see it at El Niño Mallorca. If you're only in the water in summer, you teach, or you want something comfortable for short sessions, this shorty delivers. Don't expect the thermal performance of a 3/2 or 4/3, but for what it is, it works well and lasts.
