The F-One SIT-KITE SURFBOARD is a unique kite board, adapted for seated navigation. It has a wood core to reduce volume, with pronounced nose rocker that brings longitudinal and transversal curvature, and a unique manufacturing process, hybrid between twin tip and surfboard production.
Shape. The very rounded nose and fairly straight tail rocker give a riding feel very similar to a regular board. Since the rider's feet sit far forward in the seated position, the board has a pronounced spatulate nose and rounded rails up front, with edgier rails behind. It has Unibox fins (35 or 50 mm) for easy beaching on shore, plus stainless steel inserts to fix the seat frame, pads and straps.
Project. Developed with three-time Paralympian athlete Thierry Schmitter and designed around the needs of paraplegic riders: it brings the pure thrill of kiting to wheelchair users.
