F-One SIT-KITE FOIL BOARD

The F-One SIT-KITE FOIL BOARD is a unique kite foil board for seated navigation. It has a wood core to reduce volume, with pronounced nose rocker that brings longitudinal and transversal curvature through a unique manufacturing process, hybrid between twin tip and surfboard production.

Foil system. The pivoting foil has a slot running from the tail of the board to the frame that supports the seat. The winger and swallow tail are reduced to provide even more lift and offer easy foil mounting. The very rounded nose and straight tail rocker bring sensations close to a regular board; with feet forward, it has a pronounced spatulate nose and rounded rails up front.

Project and equipment. Developed with three-time Paralympian athlete Thierry Schmitter and designed for paraplegic riders, it brings the thrill of kite foiling to wheelchair users. Unibox fins (35 or 50 mm) for beaching and stability with foil retracted, plus stainless steel inserts to fix the seat frame, pads and straps.
