Pack of 10 hinged collar bands Severne for SDM masts (Standard Diameter Mast). These are the top rings mounted on the windsurf mast extension to fix the base position and prevent the sail from drooping when rigging and unrigging.
Essential rigging replacement: collar bands wear, break, or get lost with use, and having spares on hand saves you from missing a session over a piece costing just cents. The hinged version opens and sits on the extension without having to disassemble the entire rig.
How we recommend it at El Niño Mallorca. Verify that your mast and extension are SDM (standard diameter) and not RDM (reduced diameter): they are different and not interchangeable pieces. If your gear is RDM, you need the equivalent reference (4041). If you are unsure which diameter you use, write to us with your mast brand and model and we will confirm which one is right for you.
