Starboard ACE Foil 2024 SUP Downwind Foil Board

The Starboard ACE Foil 2024 is the reference SUP downwind foil board in Starboard's range. Designed for open-water downwinders and as a crossover between SUP foil, light wind wing and SUP surf foil. Its teardrop outline with pin-tail is the most efficient hydrodynamic shape for long glide and easy small-wave take-offs.

Design

• Teardrop outline: the most efficient natural shape. Long glide, clean take-offs.
• Pin-tail: clean water release and better in-line tracking.
• Recessed standing area: slightly sunken deck for a more connected foil feel and lower centre of gravity.
• 16" foil box: extra-reinforced, "further forward" position for fine downwind tuning, compatible with most foils on the market.

Applications

• SUP downwinding: the main discipline. Cover distance with bumps behind you.
• Light wind wing: larger sizes work as a crossover in very light wind sessions.
• SUP surf foil: smaller sizes for paddling into waves and controlled flight.
