The Starboard Hyperfoil 2021 Starlite is the race foil from the 2021 lineup in Starlite construction — a middle ground between Lite Tech (more affordable) and Carbon Reflex (premium). Better rigidity-to-price ratio than Lite Tech.
About the model age: 5 years old. The Hyperfoil line was replaced in later catalogs by X-15. Still works for recreational use, but falls well short of current race foil state-of-the-art.
How we recommend it at El Niño Mallorca. Only worth it if significantly discounted (>60%) and for recreational use or learning. For serious competition, go X-15 current. When in doubt, get in touch.
