SURFLOGIC FOIL WAIST LEASH COILED 8" — 8-foot coiled leash with waist attachment by SURFLOGIC, designed specifically for foiling in wing-foil, SUP foil, and kite-foil.

Construction. Polyurethane coiled cord that extends to 8 feet in the water without creating drag or tangling on the mast. The waist cuff distributes tension evenly and allows greater freedom than ankle leashes in foil sessions. Includes anti-twist swivel and emergency quick-release system.

Why waist in foiling. On a foil, an ankle leash can interfere with the mast and create dangerous situations on falls. Waist leash keeps the cord clear of the foil zone and is the safest option for wing-foil and SUP foil. The coiled system minimizes drag in the water when you're flying.

How we see it at El Niño Mallorca. For wing-foil and SUP foil, the coiled waist leash is the standard recommendation. The 8-foot model (vs 6') gives more slack and is better for spots with current or technical conditions. Essential to not lose your board on falls far from shore.
