The Mystic Star Waist Harness Windsurf is a harness by Mystic designed for wing-foil, kite or windsurf. The harness function is to transfer the power load of the wing/kite/sail from your arms to your hip and core, which lets you do longer sessions without tiring out and with better control.

Main types:

• Waist (cintura): the most common. Balance between freedom of movement and support.
• Seat (hip/seat): lower, more stable. Better for beginners or long sessions with large kites.
• Hybrid/Multi-Use: modern combinations that work across multiple disciplines.

For progressive wing-foiling, a technical waist harness changes the experience: you go from "my arms can't take it" to 90-minute sessions without extra effort. For wing beginners, it's not essential at first (learn to manage the wing free first), but once you're pumping to the foil, the harness accelerates your progression.
